The main Branch of The Supporters Club would like to apologise to the SMC for an incorrect report that was printed in Paul Mayfield's column in Friday the 16th of February's Doncaster Star. In this report it was reported that the SMC wanted to charge the Supporters Club for the use of a room for selling coach tickets for the trip to Cardiff. This is in fact incorrect. The SMC has very kindly offered free of charge the use of the West Stand reception for us to sell coach tickets in. This is a very kind offer, and very helpful to supporters as it is very near the ticket office, also on the 1st of April we have been given free use of car park 2 and car park 3 for supporters going to Cardiff. The Supporters Club could not have asked more of the SMC and would like to thank them for the help they have given.

Supporters Club Farewell to Belle Vue.

Doncaster Rovers Supporters Club will be holding their own farewell to Belle Vue in The Rovers Return on Friday the 15th of December. All Supporters are welcome to attend and adult members of the Supporters Club will be given a free pint of beer. There will be a disco plus other events. The Party starts at 7.30pm so come along and enjoy the last Supporters Club event at Belle Vue.

Weekend Away
Yeovil Town away 28th April 2007
The Supporters Club will be running their annual weekend away trip to the above fixture. This has proved in the past to be a very popular event, and places are taken up very quickly. This year we are restricting places to 150. Over half of the places available have already been booked. Friday the 31st of March The Supporters Club are holding a Bingo Quiz night in The Rovers Return. All are welcome 7.30pm start.

Friday the 10th of March The Retford Branch is holding a NIGHT AT THE DOGS at Stainforth Dog Track. The price for the night out which includes bus fare, entrance, basket meal+drink, + £1 bet is £16. For more details call Paul Mayfield on 01427 880154 or Mobile: 077404 53066.

On the 14th of July The Supporters Club held their AGM at the Rovers Return. All the members of the committee were re-elected. Membership subscriptions were kept at last year's prices. It was announced that the Supporters Club would be the Sponsors of Steve Roberts home kit for the 2005-2006 season.

For the 2005/2006-football season the Supporters Club is looking to form a football team to play our opponent's supporters on the day the ROVERS play. This has been done before and was very popular. So if you are 16 years old or above and would like to play please get in touch with Paul Mayfield on 01427 880154. The Supporters Club will supply Kit for the team, and for away games a coach carrying the team will leave early so that our game can be played plus you will have time to get some refreshments before ROVERS play.
